This is not my day job! I do this nights and weekends!
I started my working life as an Auto Mechanic, and a very good one too! I worked on everything from mopeds to small bulldozers. But it was mostly the family cars, and the town's (Sayreville) Emergency vehicles.
I always went to work with my dad on weekends at RCA fixing Teletypes when I was in my teens, so all the guys in his shop knew me. And when one of them became a manager, he lured me away from cars. It wasn't a big leap, Teletypes were 90% mechanical, the rest, as they say, is history.
You can find my resume here at this Business Networking Site.
I was on the internet the same year it hit for consumers (1993?) and I was hooked. (see the wayback machine) I enjoy connecting all things to the internet. I can run my house from the "net", have web cams, etc..
When it comes to web sites I call myself the plumber. A lot of what I do you do not even see, it's behind the scenes. But it's required and it connects all of the things together, like the plumbing in your home, not seen, often forgot about, providing a huge service, until something goes wrong.
